Numinous Tarot / Threadbound Oracle (Pre-order)

The Numinous Tarot is a radical deck based on the RWS system that strives to bring a variety of experiences to the wonderfully complex symbolism of the Tarot. Rendered in beautiful and luminous watercolor and inks, the Numinous Tarot shows the beauty of diversity in the world, from body type, ability, race, to gender identity and expression. These things are not used as symbols in and of themselves; rather, they are there to show the infinite ways that all people can experience magic and mystery, especially those who are often excluded from it.

The deck is accompanied by a 200+ page guidebook written for readers of all levels, including beginners. Both the guidebook and card titles use all gender-neutral language.

This edition of the Numinous Tarot is printed on quality 350gsm cardstock with a textured matte linen finish and contains a new version of the extra card, The Numinous. The cards are standard Tarot size, 2.75"x4.75". Both deck and guidebook are packaged together in a sturdy box with a ribbon for easy access.

The Threadbound Oracle is a 50-card oracle deck made for divination, storytelling, and self-discovery. Its imagery and theme center around bookbinding, magic, and story craft—in fact, the whole deck is both inspired by and appears in The Thread That Binds, the deck’s companion novel (available separately).

The Threadbound Oracle comes with a 100 page guidebook. The cards will are quality 350gsm cardstock with a textured linen finish, and are standard Tarot size (2.75"x4.75"). The guidebook is the same size and contains interpretations for all 50 cards, as well as instructions and suggestions for using the deck. Both are packaged together in a sturdy box shaped like a book, with a magnetic closure to keep them safe.

The Threadbound Oracle contains 29 Story cards and 21 suit cards, all originally painted in watercolor and inks. The Story cards feature larger narrative archetypes much like the Major Arcana of traditional Tarot, while the suit cards deal with smaller and more specific meanings. There are three suits: Paper, Ink, and Thread. Each card is titled with three keywords to help you remember its intended meaning, though you're welcome to form your own.
